First steps and first fail

Hello everyone!
I glad I'm finally here!
So lets start!
I have 997/911tt/2007
My first step was no cats softwear and my choice was softronic
Result is bad. Stock car on drag strip 12,4 softronic best result was 12.0
I test car 100 times.
Step 2: I buy cai, fab speed carbon intake system
Result was 12.2 it's agean best time.
I was very unhappy and I put stock air filter, fabspeed intake I have in my garage ))) like softronic tune. Maybe somebody give money back for this stuff?
After thati change softwear for PP- Performance soft.
After that my car best time was 11,6
Now I want more!
So my next step: exhaust, but I don't know witch one, will se.
And some mod turbos.
I don't want do new mistakes
I need advice witch mods I need do first, exhaust or turbos?
Intercoolers from Champion Motorsport on the way to my home already
Thank you, I really want read your answers and advice

strato58 is infamous around these parts
It would be so nice to have a tuner "shoot out" to keep their feet to the fire for the money they are raking in on these "flash tuns"....but somehow I dont think they would like that.

You gotta do tune + exhaust to get the benefit... I think you are jumping all over Softronic before you took the necessary steps to capture the real value.

Is your car a manual? A lot of driver imput needed to turn a good time.

Is your cars maintenance up to date? Plugs should be changed after a tune.

I for one am not in love with any aftermarket company's ... However, that being said, I ran a 11.7 on my tune only 09 997.1 TT manual transmission. Trapping 126 if I recall correctly. Granny shifting and with a 60 ft time of 1.8.

My tune was softronic.

Mike.

G911,

You should consider a good free-flowing exhaust. Our full 3" 997.1TT X-cellerator 3.0 RACE System would be an excellent choice. It will really let your turbos sing with virtually zero restriction and shave aprox. 30 lbs. of weight off the car, as well. The sound is phenomenal, as good as it gets - read our testimonials in the signature link for customer reviews on this system!

Below are pictures of the full 3" dual tips in both the ceramic coated and mirror polished finish and a video - Please PM, email or call us for any questions you may have, as we developed and tested this system in house and can offer very good advice, along with our Seasonal Holiday Special Pricing.

Now about exhaust!
Acrapovik or Akrapovic or... O anyway it's not for me, I think his exhaust made from platinum or diamonds!
So... I have very good offer from Supersprint and good from Europipe
I read many info about Europipe, but I can't find info here about Supersprint

The time you mention for a tip is not on par with many others we have done. Then again this is the first I have been informed of your experience. I'm sure 20 or so tips from even Kuwait could offer some input on times stock or with an exhaust etc.

Besides adding an exhaust a TCU upgrade with rev increase cuts down the time allot.

Perhaps you could send me your name and VIN to look at what was sent to you.

Best Regards,
Scott

The intake is a waste which i think you've discovered. Be careful before you throw headers at the car. The stock units are actually very good.

The world of modding can get tricky. Do it wrong and you'll end up with a slower car.

My tune was no cats 93 octane tune. No check lights, nothing! When I ask about data login, I receive clear answer: no you can't do logs with your cable! This cable only for tune! For logs and diagnostic you need bye some special cable!

Only one month ago I find this cable, try do diagnostic and data logs and I was surprised! It's work!!! But why company told me about other cable???
