You have Turbo so you PCM 3 must be with fiber optics cables(Bose )
I don't know the part number but ask where you will take it to work for Bose cars,remember to see the sticker on the PCM .this sticker show you the factions that is include to the PCM 3 .for example navy,phone,xm,

Do you have part nr of bracket / base ? And do you know if 997/1 TT '09 has the amp also under seat ?
Btw, you first installed in the old spot and than you changed all wiring to under seat ? Isn't this a lot of work ?

Hi David, Indeed Paul has been a great help for me too, in the last 10 minutes I have received a lot of detailed info from him. In fact this gave me confidence to buy the last PCM3 on German Ebay.

Of course, once the next PCM version comes out, this will look ancient too.
But, as eclou mentioned, the currently available iPod and BT solutions are anything but solutions.
I await what hits the market over the next yr or two..

So I try to explain it again as simple as I can.
-There is an official PET file (parts numbers) from Porsche covering all 997 turbo from MY 2007 to (and INCLUDING) MY 2009.
- The MY 2009 uses the PCM3 from factory
- The PET file only shows one part number (the .03) for all cars from 2007 to 2009. So according to this PET file MY 2009 (PCM3) uses Gateway .03.

It will look good in 20 years time.
The PCM2.1 was ugly the day it was born.
I am changing pure for looks and not for functionality.
And any (aftermarket) system that will come along won't offer the arrow guide functionality in the center display under the tach.
