hello turbo cab
So I've started with an 05' Boxster in 2009, then in 2011 an '09 C2S --> picking up my 09' Turbo cab tomorrow. Don't know how this happened, I just modded my C2S a few months ago and wasn't even in the market for a new car. Guess I know what happened, test drove a turbo. I just couldn't help myself.
My C2S was kind of a purist version. Manual tranny, only extras turbo wheels, wheel spacers, limited slip diff, and not much more.
Cab has Tip S, adpative seats, SC, and because it's an 09 obviously PCM 3.0 with ipod and bluetooth. With all the traffic in NYC I didn't want to deal with a manual anymore on a daily basis in stop and go (which otherwise is great for a pure weekend car). I test drove both the PDK and Tip S and yes PDK is cool but I didn't find the Tip S anywhere close as bad as its reputation. In sport mode very responsive and hangs nice on the gas. Other than that black on black with full leather and carbon package.
Now I'm already looking into mods even though I haven't even picked her up yet haha!
Any recommendations for some black wheels? I've looked into the GT3 RS wheel set in black but they're going for almost 9K not including tires. That's a bit mucho.
I had a sharkwerks center bypass on the C2S, anything similar available for the turbo?
Going to post some pics on Friday when the puppy is on my leash.

I went from an 09 c2s pdk to an 08 turbo cab tip and have been very happy.
My turbo came with a ton of mods-you have an endless list of stuff you can add/change-some prefer stock, others, well.............don't rush into anything-enjoy the ride and search this site-lots of info..........plenty of wheel choices out there-have the ones on the car painted/powder coated black would be the least expensive way to go. looking forward to seeing the pics.
