Reliability Question on 2012 turbo s

I'm in the market for a preowned 2012 turbo s cab. I have a less expensive option for a model with 3 years left on the warranty that has 12k miles. I have another option with 5 years left on the warranty with 2k miles. The second is about $10,000 more. Any thoughts??? I likely will never exceed the mileage. What are the odds that I will need those extra two years of warranty given the stellar track record of the 997 turbo s?

So it sounds like one is a 2011 build and the other is a late 2012 build? Also 10kmi difference. Do you plan on keeping the car for more than 3 years? If not get the $10k less one. Neither will give you any issues but I usually don't keep my car last the warranty date either way.

I would buy the one with the warranty. One strange problem could easily be a $10k repair bill, and I don't like those kinds of surprises.

Go CPO, can't go wrong. Porsche has paid for every single issue that came about for me, including a new motor in my old C4S. Worth every penny x 20.

$10,000 is a lot of dough for an extended warranty.
You can likely buy a warranty for a fraction of that on the cheaper car, lots of info on that in the forums.
As far as the TTS, it's pretty bulletproof. This week I attended a Porsche event at a track where they used a TTS for launch demos. The car has done over 10,000 launches with less than 2000 km on the odometer. They have not had any issues whatsoever and it is totally unscathed after extreme abuse.
It is an incredible car, whichever you chose - you will never want to drive anything else.
