New Wheels

I never could stand the look of the stock 997.1 wheels. I have been looking at making a change for a long time but just couldn't find the right look. I know that the new style is concave wheels, however I always loved the look of a nice lip on the rear of the turbo as it made the rear end look so much wider. I would have loved to go with 20" wheels but this car is daily driven and I did not want to worry about the added weight and pot holes. I think I need some new rubber as the Bridgestone REO-50 tires look to "chunky" on the wheels.

IForged Variant

19 x 8.5
19 x 11.5

Polished Lip with a Brushed Center

Ryan, You car loos great!! The wheels really make it pop. IMO I dont think the tires look too chunky at all, you have just a little extra protection against constructions zones and curbs.

Unfortuntely Iforged does not send the offsets out with the wheels, I guess it is a secret?? I should have weighed them before I put them on the car, however I was too excited to get them put on.

Thanks! All the stuff is in the other garage, aka the workshop. Next project is to paint the garage walls two tone and epoxy or racedeck the floors.

I know it's off topic, but why epoxy over race deck? I have a friend about to do his garage, and I'd like to pass some info.

I have two garages at my home, the main large garage is epoxy the other Racedeck. The Racedeck here in AZ gets hot during the summer and bows up at the middle. It is also hard to clean when dirty, I did the white/black checkerboard style with a red border. The epoxy is very easy to clean and does not stain. The positive about Racedeck is you can take it with you when you move as I did and it will last a very long time as epoxy will chip and peal after time.
