gt3 lower control arms.
gt3 lower control arms.
gents,
whats the final verdict on gt3 / rss FRONT lower control arms ? I know they both give a wider front track (14mm i believe). i remember reading some threads where L.C.A.'s were causing front axle failure due to cv joints being at too steep of an angle.
who's got em on their car ? how do you like them ?
is understeer noticably reduced ?

There is nothing magical about the Gt3 LCAs except they allow you more camber. I don't think you would be able to tell any difference if you set the GT3 arms to the same alignment numbers as you have with the stockers. With that said, I have the GT3 LCAs with monoball ends, solid thrust arm bushings and monoball uppers along with GT3 cup uprights. Camber is -2.9. Handling is razor sharp. Steering feel will drastically improve when you get rid of all the rubber in the suspension but it will never be on par with a GT2/3 due to the AWD hardware and the inferior geometry of the turbo uprights.

Agree w phound, just the arms won't do anything, unless coupled with more negative camber. They just make aggressive alignments a lot easier to achieve. At stock ride ht, I easily get -1.9 up front with proper shims for ex.
