I will perhap's try Todd's E85 tune if I need more, I will see in the future...

Couldn't you have achieved this power level with the 66mm vtg?

I made a search for Syvecs, seems very nice, but I work with Todd for tuning and have done enough mods for now...
Perhap's later?

I'm sure not with pumpgas and stock cams as my ex setup, but I'm interested to see how your setup will produce.

I must say the sound of the alphas must be exciting compared to the vtg's!!

I'm thinking of keeping my evoms hoses and saving them for the next stage if I want more later on combined with alphas, syvecs, injectors and a stronger clutch.

P--It's funny. I had FVD catless before too but thought the opposite--that it was louder than Proto's. It just goes to show how subjective exhausts sounds are. But I agree, zero drone. I prefer the sound of the Proto X-pipe over the FVD which I really liked too. Much freer flowing.

Due to your experiences, what would be best for a vtg tip car, catless 2.5" or 3"?

I want to move to a catless system but i'm in between that 2 sizes... I may be wrong or datted but most modded vtg tip car tend to go with catless 2.5"...

Tip cars is prone to have drone issues and a overkill size will decrease exhaust flow velocity which is not so good for egt.

And what about a middle size, 2.75"?

To get proper power out of the car you need at least 70mm piping.

For turbo applications, you want the least back pressure possible. Protomotive's 3" catless X-pipe is what I would strongly recommend. Zero back pressure and really superb sound.

Agree but i bet that proto 3" catless x-pipe will have drone issues on a vtg tip car

You should contact Protomotive. I don't see why it would because it has zero drone on a manual. Why should a tip transmission cause the exhaust to drone over a manual?

I would love to hear some videos of the system TT Dude.

Have you made any?

Ideally idle, revving at standstill and WOT fly by etc etc

I could do idle and standstill but WOT fly would not be that convenient for me. I'm also on E85 which probably has slightly different sound than pure gas.

It's just I have never heard many people talk about this system but when you do hear about it it's only good things so it would be nice to hear some vids.

Even in car vids with window up window down.

Car is about 1000km now,
WG set @0,8bar gives 1,2Bar! I did a few very short pulls in 4rth.
I will low to 0,6-7Bar tomorrow, I really don't understand this "story"?...

BTW: the car seems more powerfull than it was, but I still have not do hard pulls and the V-Box is in my 993TT, I don't want to be tempted for now...
