Foiled my 997TT front hood (hides rock chips etc...)

I tried many options, various polish and detailing shops etc, but results last for a week max on a black car. Black is surely a hard car to maintain.

I dont fancy foiling the entire car, but foiling this particular section worked for me.

Beautiful ... where abouts in DXB are you?

Picking up a 997TT in a couple of weeks .. a 6MT .. a rarity in DXB it seems.

Thinking of foiling it. Where did you get yours done?

Also, how did you get your exhaust shipped over?

Thanks Ari,

DIP/Green community, the site of the Dubai Expo 2020

I have a 6MT as well, yes very rare in Dubai, which one are you looking at, the black one or the silver one?

John@speedtech shipped it for me via Fedex/USPS. I just needed to collect from cargo village in Garhoud (i don't remember).

I got my foiling done at 67, these are the guys who do the Dubai Exotic police cars, Aston Martin one-77, bentley GT, lamborghini aventador, G63 brabus etc. etc...

Where are you based?

Business Bay. I'm looking at the yellow one and mod the hell out of it.

I'm picking this as an upgrade. I had a very well modded 996TT that has met its maker.

Are you going to the track day at the Yas Marina?

House of Cars yellow one?

best of luck with your mods! yellow is a very nice colour. I don't think i will be going to the track day that is coming up as I will be busy. I participated in my first club event last month for Porsche even though I was a member some time back.

Before this I was very active in the BMW club and my modified Z4M has also met its maker

We need to meet up once you've picked up your new ride . pm'd you my number

When you say "foiling" you mean "wrapping," correct?

Nice !!. I am also planning to wrap the hood of my Meteor Gray tt . Still undecided if going Carbon fiber look or matte blsck like yours.
Definetly the contrast of gloss and matte in your car looks good.
Regards.
