This will vary based on the system etc...Headers are pretty easy and I would say you are looking at about 1 hour labor X labor rate (varies).

Exhaust labor again depends, and also the approach...remove bumpers etc...or not. I would think a competent facility or person could do this in 4 hours or less. So if labor is $150/hr, then about $750 labor would be the most I would expect to spend for the whole deal.

Headers...remove bolts at engine and 3 bolts at turbo flange...reverse...done.

Exhaust....remove 4 bolts at Catalytic converter....support straps....tips... lower....remove O2 Sensors...pull away. Reverse...done. +/-.

Hope that helps and certainly others will have a different opinion and likely more experience.

Agreed with the Rock! Also - really depends on Indy versus dealer...I got a quote at $1k for the exhaust alone (dealer NYC area).

Be a man and DIY. Both are very easy to do. $1k is ridiculous!

Well seems like I had a great deal on the headers with welding mods, and the borla exhaust for $500.00 plus $100.00 tip to the installer in my friend's muffler shop....

I would tell you that any competent shop can do the install in 2 hours easily (probably less than an hour for a good mechanic) but just like exhausts that cost $5k, owning a Porsche automagically increases labor rates from a reasonable $50/hour up to $150+/hour and they have also convinced Porsche owners that it takes 4 hours to change an exhaust which is assinine.
