Sway bars???
Thanks for the advice!
the difference is in how theyre made, hollow , solid, materials, stiffness offered etc.
i believe GMG offers the stiffest bars, which is great for a track, not sure about the street.
its kind of like a complete package sort of thing... sways need to be matched to springs, LSD or NO lsd makes a big difference...
i see you posted about eibach or h&r...
i'de stick between OEM, GMG and TPC.
gmg and tpc both race their cars, and win ... so they know what theyre doing.
if youve got gmg springs, you should pair it gmg sways, tpc springs , tpc sways etc.
our cars understeer A LOT.. so whatever you go with, you want a soft setting up front, and a stiff setting in the rear to give it a more neutral feel.
and another thing, the way the sways affect the car will be very different between your 20" wheels and your 19's..

Are eibach sway bars good enough?
yup 19s will be WAY better than 20s for 2 reasons
1st you'll have more sidewall , more sidewall gives you more lateral grip.
2nd, the suspension geometry is designed for 19s.
Eibachs are great. contact TPC racing. their sways are made by eibach but are custom spec'd.

Do you have the link for TPC?

When I owned my TT I did suspension mods in stages before I settled on TPC's complete package. Adding the sways made a bigger difference than the bilstein's did to the stock car.
As mentioned, places like GMG and TPC actually race and know what they are doing. The one piece of advice I always give when discussing suspension is make sure you find a GREAT shop to do the work. Who does the work is much more important than what components you use. In most major cities you can't swing a cat without hitting a "porsche shop". Most of them have little to no race experience and simply install products. Find someone that knows about suspension. And yes, 19" will be much better from a performance standpoint.

just saw this.. this is a STEAL

he's asing $150 for an OEM gt3 rear sway bar (thats all you really need on our cars anyway)
if its available, grab it.
if its available, with the money you save, you'll be able to put it in your mod-piggy bank for the best suspension upgrade by far.. the TPC active suspension.. thats what my next mod is going to be this spring and i cant wait.

I did GMG lowering springs, Porsche GT2 rear sway bar and a more aggressive alignment and it transformed the car. It rides better on the street and feels great on the track. I did it all at once so can't tell you what the bar alone does. I definitely recommend 19" wheels. I've tracked with my 20's and just isn't very good. Not to mention, I've seen pictures and it looks like my wheels are practically on the track, very little sidewall there.
