We could be getting ready for a price increase as I can't seem to find a set of rears anywhere! I've got a mm to go before I hit the wear bar on the inner groove.

EDIT: Never mind...looks like out of stock too??
This is a completely edited post. I cancelled the RE-11 order. I texted a friend and told him my dilemma and he put in an order for a set of rear MPS2 tires @ $400 each. So i'm very happy.

Grip improved and comfort (both where run flats), but best of all was feedback while being at the limit of grip. The Potenzas where just on/off but the MPS2's had a nice "greyzone" where you knew what was going on...
Porsche gave the MPSS for the Carrera GT the "N" rating. The only difference I can find is the tire size so I wonder why all MPSS don't have the "N" rating??
Mpss are currently on national back order in many sizes, especially those fitting our cars. I just got new tires put on today, and Butler tire in atl is high end, high volume. They didn't say why, but that they are on back order for a short while. Perhaps all appropriate sizes are currently getting their N rating as we speak
My reference was that Butler tire called for me regarding the back order and availability. Scooped a sweet deal on a set of continental dw's that had 500 miles on them for temporary until avail. While I wanted the PSS, $680 for a set of 4 I wasn't gonna pass on.
I just got back from discount, having not had the MPS2 tires installed. Price for two rear tires was $1478. I'm going to search high and low for a set of rear MPSS.
Doc...
^they claim to have it in stock..
i called a few places to see if anyone had them in stock, NO ONES got them. sears claims theyre expecting some in 6-8 days.
my buddy called michelin directly and they said they will be shipping on the 2nd week of march to their distributors.
ide hold out for a couple of weeks if you can.. the ps2's are more expensive, and wear quicker and not as grippy as pss's.
if you need tires asap i can mail you a set that is pretty worn (i was going to use them to do donuts on video). hankook tires. theyve got no tread but you can still drive on them for a few weeks in the dry.
