hey guys, what is the original application for the sachs 2.5 kit ?
what clutch is it ? what pressure plate ? any part #s for the clutch ?

Choose sachs performance, shows picture against each part number so you can cross check.

 

It's now a mix of some older and newer stuff. Few flavors you can swap out. Great option. The PP is a Sachs Race part.

Thanks Sambo, it was for my friend. he needed the part # for the clutch so he could order it from his wholesaler.

 

He has to piece it together. Have him feel free to call me if he needs help on which disc to choose or details.

 

2.5 is just an unofficial number used by vendors to denote the upgraded Sachs clutch. Usually a Sachs Motorsport 764 pressure plate (strongest Sachs plate) is used with various clutch discs depending whether you use a DM or a LWFW. I am getting ready to install a Sachs 764 PP along with a 997GT3RS 4.0 clutch disc and 964 LWFW. There is no number per se attached to this kit.

 

Pwdr, any update on your clutch install/ experience? I am needing to pull the trigger but have been in the air on lwfw. I want the benefit, but not a ton of chatter and or drivability issues. My car is far from dd fwiw

 

Fantastic clutch set up. Virtually zero noise with perfect modulation. The only time I can hear a little bit of chatter is at idle with the A/C on. With A/C off, the clutch is silent. I do have a custom flash that takes the LWFW into account.
