Tire shreaded...small town,what do I need?

Must have ran over something on the way home tonight. A few minutes of driving and my flat tire warning came on. Went to fill up and after a couple of hours it was flat again. I can feel something very sharp on the far side(with blood on my hand to prove it!).

What do you guys recommend for rear tires on a 997.1 for street use?
I hope my local tire stores have something or can get something soon.
Thank you for any input!

ouch. Hate that for you. I have seen some of the Toyo tire on another thread and love their tread pattern.

For your daily use though, not sure but, maybe you need to look at the "drive flat series?"

I have the Invo on my stock rims and thought they felt very sloppy and squirrely when turning hard. I have Hankook's V12 on a 20 inch rim and they ride rough but, they feel much better during aggressive driving.

I don't drive the car Daily but, I think with sport mode off they would feel okay.

I had the Hankooks on my 18s and was very happy with them, and the price differential was icing on the cake.

I would recommend the same tires you have on the front

If your good rear tire has most of it's life left get the same one and have the tire shop shave it down to match.
