EVOMSit 997.2
EVOMSit 997.2
I dropped the turbo off yesterday at Evolution Motorsports (thank you guys!) for a tune (regular off the self tune...not tied to the 95 octane I use 100% of the time in my car). This is a short post on the numbers and later I will show the dyno and comment more.
stock 2011 997.2 turbo running 95 octane (pump fuel) - 498 whp
tuned - 563 whp
I was told to use 15% drive train loss and came up with these crank hp numbers:
stock - 587 hp
tuned - 663 hp

The car is stock other than the tune and I am running 95 octane fuel. I was very surprised with the stock numbers. I believe this is a mustang Dyno.
I get it at Tom Thumb's. That 22PLE will be here Monday. Give me a call and we can apply it to your plastic!

That's the downside of the dynos, the configuration it can be different between them, the shop that I go have there mustang dyno in zero
(they order it that way) maybe it's reading on the low side but its the most realistic way to know what your really have on your car

Relative to a manual gearbox the .2 PDK is explosively fast. I love the PDK!!! Compared to the GT2 the suspension is sloppy and car feels very heavy. My GT2 had 720hp and could be a handful. The .2 PDK, for me, is a pure joy! I really don't/didn't like rowing gears.
