Urgent installing Kline cat-
#4
Hi,
Since Kline is on Europe time I try to help. Do you have a picture? It is likely a residue from manufacturing. If so it will burn off. they do inspect everything before shipping out.
Feel free to call me if I can help out more.

I am no expert, but I would not expect to see that much crap come out of a new Cat. I would be dissapointed if that is the quality expected? All that "STUFF" has to end up somewhere after installed...
Good luck!

You have to love these forums, SamboTT graciously helped me out and reassured me that all is ok. Well hear from Felix somewhere in the wee hours of the morning.
The porsche mechanic said he feels uncomfortable about blowing out the residue but as SamboTT said, you have a heck of a lot of air passing through there at very high Temps so a little air passing through to clean it is no big deal.

Care to explain? The tech said the same thing. No mention of price increase to me and I bought it 2 weeks ago.
So tomorrow am the car is at the dealer and I know Kline is good for the parts, but what if the 500$ I pay on the install has to be redone. What then?

Did my research never heard anything bad. Care to reference that?
