Dont think so, 997.1 and 997.2 are different at least...

996 turbo s and x50 ic are the same core as the 997.1. 997.2 are the ones people call gr2rs ic and upgrade to.

x50/gt2 cores are same or very similar to 997.1, but as a whole they are not the same. the end tanks are different. the mounting point for one of the mounts is off. the hoses use slightly different push seal connection and different clamps. with that said you can make 996 aftermarket inercoolers work on 997 just like people make the 997.2 intercoolers work on a 996.

I am going to try to modify some aftermarket 996 upgrade intercoolers to work on my 997tt...anybody done this before that may have some advice to offer??
