Question New too Porsche

I just purchased my first Porsche ever! A 2007 997 Turbo c PKA. I would like to replace Suspension, Tunning, Exhaust, Air intake Cooler & Intercooler. I would appreciate any suggestion on who are the top DOGS in each category for Porsche vehicles?

Start searching, start reading - there are so many opinions that your head will spin. Start with Champion - right in your neighborhood. You should find a link in the right side banner since they are a board sponsor.

Why don't you drive the car for a few months and figure out what you would like improve. Trying to figure out what to swap out just because it is popular for others on this forum and no really understanding why it would be of benefit to you is hit and miss and a crap load of money

Find out exactly what you want to change and then read up. I would do things in your own pace and stay away from the $ "power kits".

If you have a small budget for the project I would do the following:

Tune for e85
Exhaust (Catless)
Injectors
Built vtg's
Intercoolers
Ipd y-pipe
Ipd plenum
Sachs clutch or erp triple disc
Stock suspension is fine unless you plan to track or go huge power

If you have more than $20,000 to spend PM me and I'll fill you in on the big stuff.

My suggestion :

Tuning :
Cobb AP V3

Suspension :
Brilstein pss10 damptronic
Tpc sway bars
Tpc Drob links

Air intake :
Fabspeed maxflown intake
Ipd plenum and y pipe
Gt3 throttle body
Ap silicone hoses (a must)

Intercooler :
Ams (the best imoh and their kit includes their own ypipe )

Forge diverter valves (the oem ones cant handle the boost in a good way)

Tubi race or kline or esmotor or speed tech (they all sounds unique and almost similer though kline has a sharp tone)

Give TPC Racing in Jessup, MD a call and talk to Harris or Tom. Have fun :-)

Good list Cuban,

Although,

Fabspeed intake has been shown to rob power.

IPD plenum +GT3 throttle body + y pipe - only good with a bigger turbo setup

Aftermarket diverter valves- again many who had done this mod go back to OEM.

Thanks bro , and you are right ive seen some dino proof for the reduced numbers with that intake yet i had to go that way cause of my gemballa's trunk as its letting a lot of air in for cooling the engine compartment therefore buying an inclosed air intake isn't reasonable ,

Id say its the way the car been balanced with the in\out air otherwise a lot of suction but restricted at exist (same with my exhaust setup as i need to upgrade and btw your speedtech sounds great though id go with the catless)
