Any1 with a 997.2 turbo running catless exhaust?

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone with a 997.2 is running a catless exhaust and if so, what the results were.... Did you make more power or less power after tuning? Any drone issues? lol Ok maybe forget the last one... but I need some advice from someone who has or has tuned a catless 997.2 turbo that can tell me the real world effect running catless. Thanks guys, have a good 1

I agree same HP but way faster spool without the cats. Do your Vbox test as for me without cats yielded .1 second faster 0-60 on my Porsche and I would suspect .2 seconds faster in the 1/4 mile. This has been proven many times on the GTR forum. Catless downpipe spools an average 200 RPM sooner.

Use a straight pipe resonated exhaust that will eliminate most of the drone.

We just had a customer install our 997.2TT cat bypass pipes with our center muffler delete X-Pipe and he emailed me earlier today, thrilled with both the performance and sound. It's a nice upgrade in sound for the 997.2TT, which is a very quiet car, otherwise.

Haha. I was afraid of the smell (and the noise). But I bet you are making a little more power than a lot of us who went with 200 cel cats.

I have the Tubi race exhaust with no cats. Sounds great and no drone whatsoever. Mine does not really smell. Once and a while I do smell some unburnt fuel in the garage but otherwise I like it.

You guys think this stock exhaust is quiet? Maybe the S is louder or something, because this is the loudest of all my cars' stock exhausts. Its loud enough to hear from blocks away on throttle, the turbos whistling can be heard clearly, and it cracks/pops a lot on decel. Sometimes I wish it were quieter when I'm trying to be low key, but you definitely hear this car coming.

The s is louder than the non S. But I had an 08 and that car was definitely louder than my 11.
