Simple question.

Is a turbo cab tuned with exhaust quicker then a stock coupe? 0-60 1/4

Not planning on racing but doing some searches on potential cars I want to buy

Run a stock cab against a stock coupe and the cab may win, never mind with a tune and/or exhaust

 

We're talking about tenths of a second here. The driver plays as much of a role as the car. If you don't launch your car properly and the other guy does, then that guy will probably win the race. If you aren't going to race it, then who cares? They are both fast cars.

 

How is that. The cab is heavier.

 

The driver is going to have A LOT more to do with who wins than under 200 lbs on a 500 hp car.

 

Understood. All things being equal the coupe is lighter and should be faster on acceleration.

 

If you want a quick cab then get a 997.2 PDK. Unbelievable 0-60 and 1/4 mile times stock. There's one with a GIAC/Champion tune, Intercoolers and exhaust running consistent low 10's at 134mph. There's a vid floating around on it.
