Good tuners in nj for a 997tt

I called a place today (proto)
And he told me for my budget which is 30k max on a build it would net me 650 to 680hp
Um damn are these cars really that expensive to mod cause that's
Highway robbery
Does anyone recommend good builders

Go see EuroTech Motorsports in Mahway.

They are good honest guys, and one of our dealers in the Northern NJ areas.

For way less then $30k we can give you 600hp at the wheels on pump gas, which translates to roughly 700-750 chp with our 65mm VTG turbo package.

For that budget you can build a 997 to the limit of the stock motor with enough over head if you ever wanted to build a motor you wouldnt have to change much/any hardware.

Drop us an email if you would like to discuss further.

At that power level keep in mind that Off the Shelf tuning just doeskin work. Make sure whatever tuner/shop you go with has an in house dyno and tuner.

30K for 650 hp lol ! Ams alpha 9 is around 22K it has gt28 which suports 700whp to 800 whp on racegas . With 30K you can do a lot ! Build tiptronic transmission with tcu remap , gt30 turbos , 3inch exhaust ,injector , bov, headers gt3076 turbochargers, ams intercooler kit and maybe rods !! With rods , heads studs , gasket and coalant pipes .you can push gt30 on 2 bar all day and archive up to 900 whp on mustang . This is the best combo you can do outthere with the beest spool .

We are located in Jersey and can help you with whatever your budget is. There are soo many options at that price we could probably even squeeze a set of rods in, cams pinned, clutch and coolant fittings welded. We just wouldn't be able to go crazy on the turbo kit. Some 68mm VTG's however will get you to 650ish and from that point your only a turbo kit away from well over 900. Currently tuning a 997.1 with alpha9 package and some extra special goodies like the last exhaust a Porsche owner will ever have to buy. Maybe prodigymb can comment on that part Drop me a PM if you would like to talk.

prodygum , that exhuast looks very nice , the spool should be great without sacrifice on drone. What is the diameter of the pipe conected to the turbo ?

Exhaust looks interesting. What valves are you using? Not many can stand the heat very long.

the exhaust is a 3" out the turbo and thru the "short route", after it Ys off and the whole "long route" is 2.5" to keep the noise down and the drone away. X pipe on the porsche is the best sound you can get, problem is it causes back pressure on higher hp cars. ive tested this with tim on my 996. with this setup the short route will open up when you are really getting on it and you have performance and noise of straight pipes.

these valves are about as good as it gets. sound performance made these for supras and we went with them. they are boost operated using an internal wastegate.

Nice work. Sound performance. They built my Supra engine 14 years ago. I'm still in contact with Larry. Good guys, and I remember this valve on their turbo kit to improve the spool. Sweet!

If you'd like to take the trip out to Long Island we can put together a package for you.

Check out this build we did. That is a very reasonable budget for the potential power you'll achieve.

In defense to proto..!you should ask what that kit includes.. Switzer kit goes for 28k and I'm not sure it comes with clutch..if you want big power for that last 50hp to the wheels it costs more.. Champion kits are 26 k with not much room to go over if you want more later.. And the clutch might be extra.. Protomotive tunes and builds are some of the best .. If you later want to sell the car there reliability holds value...proto does great work..
