The 997.2's with the larger/more powerful motor and PDK have a huge advantage on the GTRs.
At the 2:00 mark in the vid below I raced a full bolt on e85 fuel system GTR making 600 wheel HP. This car/owner had a 10.4 at 134 timeslip.
For this run my 2011 Turbo S had only a tune and plenum and I was running the 91 octane tune with a blend of 91 and VP100 (97 motor octane).

I've raced a few GTR's from a dig and they are very fast of the line.
I have trouble keeping up with them in the 1st few meters

Agreed w/ the 997.1 though... it's exactly as you said. GT-R transmission is very fast, just like the .2 PDK.
Either way, I'd still prefer to be in the Porsche!

My comment was towards OP.
I would never advise Longboarder's to get some turbos, his car is perfect the way it is.
The big advantage of the GTR and PDK's over the 997.1TT is the launch control.
