Made a custom 2 muffler full 3" with cat bypass pipes and custom 3" dual 3" tips for a client
Mufflers have louvered cores with 4.5" rolled muffler bodies.

Looks great Mark. Any measurements of the impact this has on power?

 

Our 997 made 871 rwhp with 4 mufflers vs 2 and it was catless. I have 996s with over 1000 whp. been at it for 6 years testing and tying various muffler componets.

What's cabin resonance like? I am still in the market for a catless exhaust. I want antilag on the Cobb AccessPort .

 

4 muffler version is almost non existent. The 2 muffler has a tad but the sound is worth. I'm not here to make a straight pipe X and brag that it has no drone like I read - that's just Absurd. But I play with various options as I make each one that gives me control over drone.

Anti lag is not good for turbos and cats. That's what damages turbos not to mention dislodges inner cat from the body due to the high heat. Turbos don't like that's either. I recall on the Evo I had with a stand alone. Fun to show off but hard on the turbos. Just my opinion.
