Ok, understood. Will check out Europipe and BBI. Thanks again. Guess I will try to read up on bypass valves?

Not sure what you mean by the bypass valve. I don't think the turbo has a bypass valve. Or it may. I know when I hit the sport button the exhaust gets louder with no change in RPM, compared to when it is in normal.

But the exhausts that add that like capristo, honestly are just over priced IMO. You'd do well with the 2 I mentioned.

I'd want the bypass valve stuff for a GT3. The turbo is just a quiet car in general.

Your exhaust is a Europipe Stage 2 on a 997.1 Turbo with GT2 turbochargers so it has little in common with a 997.2 Turbo S.

The OP is talking about a 997.2 Turbo S.

Yes is there much difference? I actually enjoy my exhaust mostly on part throttle with my window down. Love the way it whistles away and barks

Hi all, thank you again for all the great advice. I decided to go with the Kline exhaust. There were many great ones to choose so it was difficult. The Europipe and BBI were in the close running but after speaking with SamboTT I decided to try Kline. SamboTT is a really cool guy and only talked great about all the mentioned exhaust companies! He told me that I could not go wrong with any of them and dismissed some of the bad press that I have read. He was admittedly a little bias towards Kline so I was sold on his passion for this exhaust and company. He gave me the verbal Sambo guarantee that if I was unsatisfied, he would take the exhaust back and get me into one of the other great exhausts at his expense! I do not know SamboTT but I believe him 100% as he seems to be very straight forward and believable. Let's hope I do not even have to test it but I am confident it would not be an issue! You do not find that type of customer service anymore that is for sure! Anyway, I will post the details of my exhaust placement with videos when the time comes. I was told there is a 3 week wait for the exhaust to get fabricated. To be continued....... :-).

Great choice. The exhaust is beautifully made and light; if you get the Inconel version. Sam is definitely passionate about his product, and his service is 2nd to none. I just received my exhaust + manifold after a 4-5 wks wait. Sam went beyond my expectations to get the exhaust/manifold to me as quickly as possible. Now, I just need to find time to install this piece of art and hear the symphonic aura that some are raving about. Looking forward to further unleashing the tuned TTS power with more fine tuning by Markski from 911Tuning.

Kline? Good man. I have their inconel version. Very nice sounding exhaust. But don't expect it to compare to your AMG and drive Sam crazy . He is a great guy and the guy's at kline are best in the business.

Check out my thread on the forum if you want a good video of the sound.

Thank you for all the kind words guys. Wow that feels great. The boys are building a custom 3" to 70mm System for this application with 3" Decat Pipes as well as large bore 100cel cats. We're going to get a nice growl out of this car while maintaining the signature Kline pitch increase and amazing full throttle roar. France and I had several conversations to really pin down his goals and how to get there as best we can not having a thumping V8. The SamboTT guarantee lives. Let's see if I nail it this time too. Couldn't do it without Felix and Christian!

France this is going to be fun.

LOL, I warned Sam of my OCD ! I will try not to drive him too crazy and I am confident we will hit this nail on the head. I love that Sam is so enthusiastic about this project!

I have never had a P car before and hardly ever driven one before I purchased this 2012 Turbo S. To me it was already born a monster and now it will have the sound to go with the drive. I am totally psyched to get this on and go WOT! To be continued..... This is really a great community and I am glad to be part of it! Enjoy the weekend!

Regards,

LF

Good choice France. There are many good exhausts on the market, but you absolutely cannot go wrong with Kline; and of course, Sam's customer service is icing on the cake. He bent over backwards to insure that my purchase and installation went flawlessly.

Thanks! I was a little nervous going with a company that I really have not heard of and it's not cheap either! I feel better when I hear people chime in saying I bought a good exhaust so i appreciate the response!
