Maybe for other cars but dealer disagrees with that Sambo and they have seen most in shop! Dealer really should know here, they are Porsche trained on the cars they sell and service so sure to be qualified for making best conclusion than just some enthusiastic forums opinions also from sellers agents so on. Or you say Porsche dealer not know enough? Pls explain?

They assure EP cats and whole system is much ""best"" from what they see so far in shop and fit. And yes they have seen Klines and no fit it anymore in their shop end of story. Am I to now argue with them to say they don't know enough from what they see?

You say there is no best? Hmm. That make no sense sambo and only trying to defend with nice story about everything is great not just one better than other. Bit like saying Porsche is not best over say Hyundai car or like Sangyong because others 2 are cheaper and drive too.

no offend but I think I listen to my dealer on this one sambo....have them happy so if things go wrong sometime and then they say told you so now warranty!

 

I respect your and their opinion. You are entitled to it. When hard working gentleman spend hard earned funds on a system that does not fit I assume you would hear about it. In many cases you do actually. I have had several dealerships in several countries praise the quality on both of the systems mentioned. In fact you will find pretty wonderful reviews about Kline and EP. You are saying many clients, reputable shops and technicians do not make sense here. I just do not agree that there is only one great exhaust option. You are putting down the entire industry.

I think no one can really say what is really the"best", as there is no scientific measurements to determine what isthe “best”. The best sound, the mostexpensive, the cheapest, the lightest……….. And what is best sound anyway?? Theyare all subjective. Maybe the best iskeeping OEM stock, as Porsche has to honor the warranty. However, even the Porsche OEM parts might notthe best. Don’t forget Porsche is a massproduction auto manufacturer and they are in business to make a lot of $$$$, sothey have to compromise with cost and quality in order to sell more QTY.

Can anyone tell us that Porsche officially honor thewarranty with any of these aftermarket exhaust makers without saying you didthis, so the warranty is void, blah blah blah?


Who decide the best? It is end users in the end of the day and the answers are all different. IMHO

 

Maybe one day, China, Japan, Korea, or Taiwan produce a set of "Economical" exhaust by using Samsung or bullet train quality and with Asian labor cost, Will it be the best??

Sure yes always "subjective" with sound, but quality with more reliable operations and long term health are 2 different thing with more importance to some than others, this is clear. I am no expert, so have trust and respect for dealer knowledges and experiences re what they are thinking about the 100 "cats" part though so... btw You have some "scientific measurements" at all to share pls?

Not at all..and not need to be sad sambo just because Porsche techs give their conclusions and advises to me about what they feel a good comfort with and what they not, and I share their thoughts here which making you a little sad. Sorry you cannot sell the EP and also make a little money for it but perhaps you ask them to sell as well? Dont worry I will not be ever saying hey don't buy or use this one or that....I will just care about my own car situations and for dealer comfort with health of car long term, that way if problem arise they will fix it up. In my opinion it also says a lot what direction these threads always go in and how/who it starts with. It was just a congratulations until some could not handle it. The only time EP came out of my mouth it was positive. Not good PR for your brand of choice. And again I'm doing just fine as are my clients. But thank you for your classy mature concern.

 

I don't have anymeasurements, so I don't know which is the best. If there was one, thenwe could just simply purchase the best one according the rank andpersonal financial strength. isn't it? And there will be noneed to argue about it. I am running the stock, because I also want tokeep long term health and trust Porsche will use proper parts. But from time to time, I just want to get onewith a better sound, as the stock is too boring. We would like to get the best one for my needincluding the health of my car like you mentioned and so on……... If you know some Porsche dealers vouch forEP, care to share the contact information, so I could talk to them for the peaceof mind? Thanks.

Yes, my service IS good. As is my word. Take a look at my signature. That's all my guys need to know. Whoever doesn't want to work with me it's their loss IMHO. Actually no. I'm not defending myself. I'm defending choices for people. I am not saying to deal with one person or that there is only one best. That is coming from others. I'm simply tired of sitting and watching things like this happen. Look where the attacks came from and who they came from before provoking others to respond. It's a common tactic to distract from others hard work. Many of us are tired of it. I've been here a long time and have a connection with this forum and its members. Everyone who cares to know is quite aware that I am personally very open-mindedrespect others opinions and efforts. Tell me if I'm wrong… This forum is for members of all kinds to share opinions thoughts and especially enjoy. Not to say that this is the best only that is approved. If I am wrong then fine. I will ask you the same sir… What is your beef? Do you like everyone to just say OK if you say that you and your dealership of choice feel there is only one good option for exhaust and it's the BEST. OK good for you then. Move on. There are many that do not feel this way. And whether you attack myself, I manufacturer that I respect or anyone else I will let you know.
