Cheers all. Doesn't need to be a cat converter debate. Buyer chooses! I just wanted to say thanks and thumbs up to the OP. Kline are seeming to do something right

My two cents I'm grateful for Sam , he sent me a pm about different exhaust choices and his service bar none the best in the business, I also got nice pm's from stef EP and John from speed tech and fab speed
Not for nothing I think it's great these guys are very insightful and helpful about their products helping us make good purchases

Having said that I have 04 996 tt w Kline Ss exhaust , 13 997.2 tts w Kline inconel w plenum, exhaust sounds just amazing and now just added a 16 981 spyder to the mix added plenum and TB going to finish it with some manifolds from Kline, Felix is currently fabricating some manifolds for me.

At the end of day 9e is it that hard to hit the delete tab man o man heard of the Brits being old and crotchity lighten up it's just a pm, not like they are calling you non stop at home during tea and crumpets

Yes Kline I've heard good reports on including from the OP on this thread who's now a happy bunny. A well know GT2 owner in UK also has Kline inconel and says its the best sounding turbo exhaust he's ever heard.

You cannot have a Kline with the same Emitec cats as Europipe so far as I aware and to most people sound is the most important thing with an aftermarket zorst so the cats matter not to many buyers. The Klines which have an exotic sound are thinner pipes therefor more restrictive than the 3 inch versions they also make which sound more bass heavy like EP2. Think trumpet vs trumbone.

My priority was the least back pressure possible so the Emitec cats made sense for me with EP2. Sound unusually was a secondary objective but I like the EP2 sound very much. I've heard other equally good exhausts from Capristo, Kline, GMG, Speedtech, Akaprovic, AWE, TUBI, BBi and the list goes on

None of the other aftermarket sports exhausts have less back pressure with cats then EP2 so far as I'm aware and all the x pipe designs tend to be more restrictive just by way of the design but again its the x pipe that contributes to the more exotic sound.

This Kline is the best sound vid I've heard on a GT2. Its inconel and I expect its like $7500 +. I'd happily own one myself following Toby (the UK GT2 owner) sayings its brilliant.

Enjoy!

On the PM no I do not appreciate a vendor contacting me cold unless I specifically request them to PM me. Sorry I may be old fashioned but to me its exactly the same as getting a sales call on your home phone. Members PM me all the time and I'm sure there's plenty of members on here who may say that I'm always delighted to talk 911 turbos with them via PM.

Peace out

Peace to you sir. I believe having the last word will satisfy you so I will just Focus my thoughts on whoever is interested. But I will thank you for pointing out some issues that I can hopefully clarify for the public. I would take a challenge any time against more misinformation. How does one know which system flows more than the other? On any brand by the way unless they test one. Several exhaust manufacturers have had several versions. Perhaps some are not aware that there are several versions of the Kline Innovation exhaust system. Anyhow I will only talk about this product although I have put it up against many others on the dyno. I also don't think the catalytic converter argument is an important one and it's an incorrect statement that all other systems won't flow as much because of this. Unless of course you are assuming all other catalytic converter manufacturers are not up to the task. Exhaust gas velocity is another important factor that comes into play but again if any potential customers have any questions I will be there with them to the end. As well as offer my full guarantee that the proper design exhaust built under my watch will outflow anything and answer all of your needs because it will be tailor-made. To have all of these variations in stock makes this brand strong. I'm really glad to have the support these gentlemen offer me from design to engineering to quality fabrication dedication and of course innovation!

Have an awesome day everyone!

right?!
I try to keep it indirect and informative but it always turns into this versus that. People are reading so I feel obligated to show appreciation and support as well as information. Exhaust is a very personal thing especially with more exotic cars and higher prices. Options are great! Options with guarantees are even better!

Oops! Not sure what I said but I think I stepped on someone's tampon string.

Not sure I care about what a catalyst is made off as long as it does the job and don't give me error codes.

EP is really old news with over 10 year old technology. Looks too bulky in my eyes and heavy.

Inconel material is still the exhaust F1 and elite Motorsport uses. I doubt EP makes that.

Your 997 turbo is now 10 year old tech. Does that make it 991 turbo better than a 997 turbo not necessarily in the same way as I don't think a 997 turbo is better in many ways than 993/964/930 turbo. EP is a work of art and you're right if you don't understand why you should maybe have the best cats buy something else.

Funny how its always the Kline owners making the snide comments - must have chip on their shoulders or some sort of inferority complex lol

What is funny is that if you EVER see a challenge to Kline Innovation it's 99% from a gentleman with the same exhaust you have. Awesome cats and all! Chip? Now that says a lot

Enjoy the last word so we can move on kind sir...

Sambo I have a few cars with different exhausts so I'm agnostic.

You pose as a neutral but in truth you are a Kline salesman. The veiled dislike of EP from you and your minions is amusing. What happened would Stef not appoint you as an agent lol?

A fellow I often swap emails with in the UK (Callaghan) with tip turbo just got rid of EP1 and replaced with Kline and he loves the Kline. I have no axe to grind.

You have made a few bold claims like Kline outflows anything else on the market and you can supply them with Emitec cats.

Listen to yourself. I'd be nervous in your shoes if anyone orders this miraculous Kline exhaust that outflows anything else in the market with Emitec overized cats lol .

To all potential customers or even anyone who just would like help or information. Sam at By Design is here with a 100% full guarantee to provide anything you need to meet your criteria to enjoy your vehicle at its maximum potential. With a 100% satisfaction guarantee. Since I know that a certain vendor has provided certain information to a certain client of theirs…I would like to make it clear that unfortunately there is only one single exhaust brand we do not carry. At the request of the manufacturer. To the contrary how do I know this? Because I had a potential sale last year and with respect to the owner and the product I reached out after many years. He was not interested in it and we wished each other well. I understood. The customer ended up buying a Kline System. I gave him a guarantee and he is another happy Kliner! Once again the catalytic converter situation does not bother me at all. It is one component of the system which many people exclude for extreme high performance purposes anyhow. They have their benefits and they cause limitations. It's nice to have a flexibility so that in the proper environment the customer can remove them. I'm confident in the catalytic converter's that we offer. Once again gentlemen it's a public forum and I truly believe options are wonderful. If I push a particular product it's because that product has served me and my customers very well. The only reason I am posting is to make sure all of my customers understand the facts from my side. That's the most important thing to me. The customer service and reputation.

Also the HJS XL as well as EEC cats we use are E-marked and the Kline Innovation Systems are TUV Koln certified!

There is racing and there is gentlemen racing! I always want to stick to the gentlemen one. Sam is among the most helpful vendors from this community. His customer service not only surpassed everybody's expectations but also helped great manufacturers become even greater, with his input and real life feedback!

The end user, the owner of a car, has the last word and he needs to decide which exhaust is best for his needs. Misleading is not doing anybody any good, not only that it creates false legends.

We could go on forever about how Kline is fabricating Inconel systems for motorsport teams, about how we manufacture our own Inconel tubing in house, about having the lightest sytems in the world and so on. Things that are truly important for choosing a strong and capable company as a partner.

The choice is yours dear car lovers. I wish to have less disputes and more ACTION

Felix
