Another prodigal son returns
Hi Guys,
Sold my 01' 996TT to a 6spd board member in July and, while he's loved it, I've been hating life ever since.
Yesterday I fixed the problem with a 2007 997.1 TT, triple black, that was very well loved by the previous caregiver. Lightly optioned but it does have sport chrono.
Happy to be back in the fold here in Gilbert, Az where we can enjoy our fun year round.
Cheers
Mikey

Hey, another local!
Can recommend some shops for service if you need any.
If you have any plans for it, let me know. I can recommend upgrades, too
Lots of local Porsche guys, we're planning a drive in the next few weeks - if you want to join, I'll txt you my number.

Thanks. Yep I do enjoy getting together with some other P-car folks. I try to get to C&C at Gainey Ranch every few months. I was very active in the Texas regions but kinda dropped it a bit out here, work got really busy so I didn't have time to instruct at DE's like I used to. Hope to at least get to a track event or two a year.
As far as shops go, I've used Beck's up in Scottsdale a couple times but they are quite a hike for me in Gilbert. I've heard good things about McIlvain in Tempe; are they as good as folks say, service and pricing? I'd certainly appreciate any info on other shops, particularly if they are in Gilbert area. My son has a Boxster S that needs a little power window attention.
As far as mods, I'm working with Kevin again at UMW for a tune, he is just outstanding. Suppose I need an exhaust too, but that's a can of "exhaust choice" worms I'm not looking forward to opening. If the choices are as wide as they were for the 996 TT I'm in trouble.
Thx
Mikey
