Direct wiring to the fuse box

Hi there. Was looking to hard wire I to the fuse box. Is there a way to access the rear of the box? I can't seem to figure out a way to fish the wire behind the panel. It just looks plain ugly to have wire come from. The front and see the wires.

There are four screws on the panel. Is it simply unscrewing the four and pulling out the panel?

You can pull the carpet off that surrounds it.There was an opening on mine where there was no fuse or holder so I went through that from behind.
