What exhaust, 997.1 Turbo?

Hi!

I've got a 997.1 Turbo year 2008 and have been looking for a sport exhaust. What is the best choice?
Europipe looks good and it's not overpriced. And if Europipe, would I go to Stage 1 or Stage 2. I am planning to get ECU flashed that's for sure.

I've compared all of the videos the diffrent stages available on Youtube, but cannot really come to a final decision.

How loud is Stage 2?
(Every car here in Finland must be tested once a year to determine it's road and enviromental saftey).

Europipe Stage 1 or Stage 2 or ... WHAT?

Kline, Kline Catless, BBI, Europipe 2 Quiet or Loud - depends on you.

I prefer the louder stuff, BBI was my all-time favorite exhaust, it's also one of the most overpriced / expensive exhausts on the market.

EP2 for sure IMO. Very happy with mine and it will be fine with emissions etc - better than OEM quality.

EP1 too quiet according to lots of owners in UK.

dhahlen gives great advice. If I didn't have BBi, I would have went with Kline Catless. Both really great exhaust for the sound and the performance.

Akrapovič has a system as well that's worth looking into.

Let me know if there's anything I can do to help.

These are all great systems and it's quite nice that there are so many great flavors for everyone. Just to clarify, Kline's Inconel systems are the lightest available. The beauty that has proven Kline so popular is that you can have a true Jekyll Hyde system with the latest X design and 1D technology. Catted, Decat, SS, Titanuim, Inconel and custom set ups to meet your needs for lower than even the average cost of other good systems. Nothing but happy clients!

Our 997TT 2.5 "quiet" model would be a perfect fit. "X" design for wonderful sound characteristics and very comfortable in the cabin. See our testimonials page for numerous enthusiastic reviews...pricing is very competitive and we offer 6speed member discounts, as well.

I'd keep an eye for a good used one in the classifieds section here on the 6 all of the above mention exhausts pop up for sale at some point ,that way you won't be beating yourself up as much if you don't like it .A lot of guys including my self change systems overtime .I convinced myself when I fist got my car that I was gonna keep this turbo on the mild & quiet side ,but soon changed my mind after hanging out with some other turbo owners & getting jealous of the sound .Im know on my 3rd & final & started with a Miltek nice & quiet ,then a Fabspeed slightly more aggressive & now a BBI

I'm another vote for BBI. I had one on my 996tt and now on my 997TT. I LOVE IT.

I've had fabspeed, RPI, and Europipe. I like BBI the best.

If you're looking for something with high-flow cats, beyond the choices listed above (which are all great), let me know what you think about the Tubi Street system. I can give you a good deal right now if you're interested.

It's a really great system if you're looking for an option that has OEM-like quietness at cruising speeds, but a lot more bark under acceleration. Kind of a happy-medium, best of both worlds option...

Another vote for bbi. I had a cargraphic and the bbi sounds a lot better imo. KLINES build quality looks excellent but sound to me is lacking.

Most exhausts mentioned here are good ! No doubt.
But if you want the best of the best you have to go with Europipe.
There is no substitute .
Hand made in Belgium in a labo like place by 2 exhaust 'surgeons'.
No one, but those two, have touched and made that masterpiece.

I think that Akrapovič is great, but too expensive to me. I liked to hear how much BBI, TUBI, Fabspeed, Kline, Cargraphic and Speedtech costs(+ shipping to Finland). Please PM to me. From Europipe I allready have an offer.
And I definitely need the exhaust with cats.
Thank you all.
