What Next

I have a 997 turbo with some mods and not sure what I should get next:

What did you buy next or are considering buying.

I have looked at F599 GTB.
Would gain sound, NA engine feel but its large and 2WD and not sure about the gearbox.

I have looked at 991 GT3
Again gain sound and feel but 2WD and slower.

I have looked at 991 Turbo S
Not sure if big enough difference and my car is the about the same performance wise when I did a run against one, although a sounds a bit better inside.

Thanks!

599- I hate the idea of a front engine in a Ferrari! (some ppl think im crazy)

991 GT3- Depending on your mods you may miss the power, that my biggest hold up, because im in love with the 991 GT3.

991 Turbo- kinda like your car but better.. is it worth it? No idea!

How about Mclaren? They are competitively priced against the turbo.

Between those three options the F599 GTB as it is the mostest different from what you have now and it's a whole other type of experience.

The 991TT's are Kicking some *** lately. Up to 750+hp easy and solid. Nice jump in performance, style and comfort. The V12 Ferrari's are awesome (Any one for that matter) but you know what they say..."You have an affair with an Italian but you merry an German"

F12 is very impressive having 730hp from an NA engine! However out of my price range and as it rains here most of the time here I probably would need to stick to 4WD.

Drove LP560 the other day and that felt very slow compared to what I have. My car is circa 600hp now.

Going to go and test 991 turbo S next week.

Thanks!

I have a By Design Stage 4 kit that's been very strong world wide. The platform is incredible and we continue to push the envelope with the fastest 991's in the country and in the world! You can check out the 991 for him but be careful because you can get sucked in! My Instagram you can click on has a lot of cool pictures, data and fun stuff.

I have a 991 GT3 that I recently ran in a roll-on event. I was dead even with a 997TT cabrio with headers, full exhaust, and Cobb stage 2. The GT3 isn't that slow. It also pulled a 1.7 60" when I ran it from a dead stop and it went 11.30 @ 124. The traction control is amazing, and it has insane amounts of traction for a 2WD car. Just another data point for you.

Beautiful car the GT3 but have to agree with OP in a straight line they feel a tad slow after a 997 turbo.

Mclaren 570 S and new Lambo Huracan 2wd very similarly priced to 991 turbo S.

If you're happy buying used than obviously Huracan 4wd within range too but the above two cars new are well priced.

Also new Audi R8 V10 plus worth a test drive but I struggle with its looks.

What about a used FF, 4 proper seats and 4wd? They've very cheap over this side of the pond used.

Just came back from an event with a friend with a 991 GT3. We did 50-150mph after a 100, I gain a fair bit and by 150 I was around 3/4 car lengths in front each time wish I had the exhaust sound! This was the same with my run against a V10+ as well, which was surprisingly not great in the wet.

You'll love both the 991 Turbo S and the 991 GT3 to drive. Handling makes 997 turbo feel like a dinosaur.

Having said that about the handling of 997.1 turbo watch this track optimised 997 turbo against 991 GT3s and 997 GT2. Driver can clearly pedal but for a stock engined 997 turbo he's very quick!
