assuming this is tuned with a COBB. a friend of mine is having similar issues right now. i think there is a very limited number of people who have COBB figured out to do an upgraded turbo setup.

for whatever its worth i tried COBB when i had the 30R setup and it was a huge waste of time. ton of logs, ton of email and they still couldn't figure it out. it was BETA to say the least, it's annoying to see and hear that it still is not really a complete product.

It does have a custom Cobb tune. I have another local shop working on it now. The initial report sounds positive and I took it for a test drive today; it did great on the test drive. When I get the car back and I've driven it for a week or two with no issues then I'll declare victory.

Good luck austx911. Zohair and the crew are pretty good so who knows. It's been crazy there I hear with all the big events. I can say we have lots of cars with different set-ups running really well on the AP. You should be fine but if I can help you and or BL I'm here anytime if you would like to reach out!

As a 911TT customer who's been there I can honestly say ... I know. If you own a GTR that may be the go to shop but not imo if you own a 911TT.

I don't mean to add fuel to your fire, but the terrible reality is... in Texas there aren't any good shops for our cars. I owned Corvettes before this car, and great shops are on every corner... this car... zero good shops around.

Steve Ott / Driversource are probably one of the best in the country. This guy knows Porsches.

Where are they located? I need to talk to them about my issues too. Cobb tune as well. Sorry op... don't mean to deviate from your issue.

This is what I'm finding out. However, I'm hopeful that Calvo Motorsports can sort it all out. TT Vipers is their bread and butter but Antonio owns a modded 997TT - it runs like a beast.

Yeah, I know their reputation is topnotch with Vipers, didn't know they worked on Porsche's. Best of luck getting it sorted out. I was one weekend away from taking my car to BL... ended up at Cobb instead.

Cobb cant even figure out how to make a 3bar sensor work on this platform, i am not surprised.

Ecutek needs to get into the porsche market..

I own/owned lots of high $$ Boostlogic parts and their support is somewhat lacking i agree.

Is the general consensus that GIAC is the safer move?

Cobb gives you the access port which allows you logging and easy flash changes. GIAC doesnt do any of that if i am not mistaken.
