Yeah I do all of my service there, but I doubt they would embark on non standard fixes like welding coolant pipes etc.

You can use USP, KWM or Gulf Performance. All are respectable.

I need to have this none on my 07TT as well.
How much should I pay for this? I know it will vary but I want to know whats it worth more or less so that I don't get screwed.

I'll keep this updated. Honestly getting a bunch of stuff replaced at same time, but I will make sure to have the coolant pipe work on its own invoice.

Had this thread in the back of my mind.

I just had my car serviced Friday and it hit 40k miles.

So far, no leaks but I am going through about 1/2 gal of coolant per year.

Before mine came pouring out the car...I would always get a hint of coolant smell after a spirited drive. I can imagine this was a very small and slow leak that would drip onto something hot. I always kept an eye on the coolant level and honestly in 44months of ownership I never had to add coolant.

I get the occasional sweet smell.

no puddles or drips on floor.

Just cleaned my radiators and no leaks up there either.

I had a leak-down test a few years back too. I'm gonna keep an eye on it.
