Top Gear

Guys,

I want to know when Top Gear comes on Air? And any idea when they are going to do the Test drive on the new 997 Turbo.

I can actually say that I am a proud "owner" of every single Top Gear to date (7 full seasons) around 30gb or so

Well don't you agree then that the old seasons (without mr Clarkson as main anchor) are not as entertaining as the 'new' ones? Quite boring actually.

I wouldn't call them boring... just more to the point. Tiff always told it how it was without any bias. Clarkson tends to let his (self-admitted) bias come in to play sometimes (as seen in the picture above). That said, Clarkson is more entertaining for that very reason. Now-a-days they also just do ridiculous stunts like the mini-cooper ski jump, etc.

Top Gear is a bit more of a comedy about cars, while Fifth Gear (hosted by Tiff) is more a straight up auto show. Both have their merits, Jeremy admittingly does make me laugh (like the cockster) but I love watching clips of Tiff powersliding expensive cars round the track.

That said top gear usually picks up in May and Fifth gear usually around April, so should be soon for fifth gear.

I actually find Jeremy fairly entertaining as well as the rest of the Top Gear crew,...my wife finds Top Gear sufficiently humorous that she'll actually watch the whole episode with me!,...now if it would just come back on TV!

As for Fifth Gear,...Tiff is the man! BUT, for the most part, the way those 'others' test the cars it might as well be called "Drift Gear."

I've watched every Fifth Gear and Top Gear, and I find Top Gear much more entertaining.

I find Fifth Gear too boring and they test too many "Crappy" cars and take forever to conclude their boring tests.

Plus, Jeremy cracks me up! Did you guys know that Top Gear won a Golden Globe for best foreign unscripted TV show?
