Anybody make a "Valvetronic" switchable exhaust WITH Cats?

Looking to update the exhaust on my new-to-me 2007 997TT.

Have to have the CATS to pass NYS annual inspection.

Want loud for me but not all the time (when with the wife).

I found a variety of "Valvetronic" setups but it looks like they are all catless.

Thanks for your help.

J.D.

I'm happy with Cargraphic sound version with valves, 200 cell cats.

i am in the same boat, i have a new to me 997 TT that came with a fabspeed maxflow but i am looking for something a bit more exciting. i want a valved exhaust but also have to deal with emissions so must be catted.

i've been looking at the IPE:

there are some videos on youtube, one of which where it sounds pretty rowdy getting on to the interstate and through a tunnel, though i suspect that might have been the catless setup.

I’m considering the Fabspeed supersport setup with cats.

Your current max flow isn’t loud enough?

i find it to be very tame - i've only had the car a couple months and have yet to find a stock 997.1 to compare it to though. the maxflo does come in two variants, mild and and sport. i am not sure which one the car has. i've been meaning to ask fabspeed if there is a way i can tell from inspecting the mufflers.

i considered converting over to their supersport x-pipe as well but i'm having a really hard time finding any videos of it that aren't 12 years old with bad audio. youtube, instagram, i've looked everywhere. i've even asked fabspeed directly and they couldn't provide much either. that's a lot of money to spend to spend on something without much to go on. the videos i have heard, it seems louder than the maxflo but still not that crazy. this is why i ultimately think i want a valved option.

i have a valved AWE switchpath on my RS3 and it's amazing. it's obnoxiously rowdy when i want it to be and tame with low drone when i need it to be as well. it's hard to go back from that kind of setup once you've experienced it.

IPE has arguably the best sounding options from the bunch. We consistently receive good reviews from clients who have purchased them. We just ordered one ourselves for our shop car - 997 Turbo.

if you guys would like more information and a deal for being 6Speed member send me a DM or email me at David@WheelsBoutique.com.

never seen that one before. How much did it run you? Looks like a good option.

another option, likely lower cost, is the Top Gear valved system. It’s basically a dual can system with a valve that bypasses the mufflers.
