HELP - 997 Tiptronic Won't Shift Out of Park
Help! My 997.1 Tiptronic Turbo Convertible won't shift out of park. Brake lights work and depressing brake releases shifter button, but shifter won't move. Trickle charged the battery - no help. Disconnected battery - no help (just have the PSM light on but that should go away once I can drive). Have heard of a solenoid in the shifter assembly that could be the culprit, but can't find any good DIY info on what to do. Can I purchase and just replace the solenoid or do I need to replace the entire shifter assembly? Anyone?
Same here. I managed to get it out of park a few times but now I leave it in neutral, use the hand brake but you need a small pin to get the key out.
Dont think its related to the brake though. No idea how to get to that solenoid.
hopefully someone comes up with something.
