997tt Intercoolers?

Are the intercoolers found in the 997tt the same as the GT2 intercoolers from the 996tt x50/gt2? Or, are they a new bigger/better design?

They are the same cores but the end tanks are slightly different.

Well I guess it depends on who you are asking

If you ask Porsche, I sure that they are "new and improved" but, they are nearly the same. The cores are the same AKG cores they have been using since 2001.

I am not sure if you were asking me but when I modified the engine I selected intake, headers, exhaust, and also bought the Evo intercoolers . I love the way my car drives and it has been quite reliable thus far.

With the stuff Ive seen come from Prototech, I would touch anything of theirs with a 10 foot pole.

Evo is what I recommend to my customers. Blown 6 is also a good choice.
