Not sure if this has been talked about before or not, but with PSM off, the car will not go into the Sport Chrono Overboost mode.

Great....

Is Porsche trying to take all the fun out of drving a Porsche? I don't get it.

Can't this be changed through the ECU?

More info...

Looks like it's not so much tied to PSM, but more towards IAT's and coolant temp....
We are trying to establish a pattern, but the car sure is making it difficult.

We have established that torque is really the only gain with the overboost setting. There is no additional HP. It's adding about 30 more lb/ft of torque at peak.

Sound slike overboost only applies until a certain RPM and goes away... or the turbos simply run out of huff and boost goes back to stock at high RPM.

I was going to say that I didn't have that issue on the dyno nor the street. Might be something else tripping it. The arrow should still show up. Is this happening?

It looks more like these cars are like the NA 997. They are super sensitive on the dyno. If they don't have proper cooling, your numbers will be all over the map!

Just an FYI for anyone that is dynoing there car. Fans, fans, and more fans!

Might explain why I didn't see this on the dyno. I don't mess around when it comes to cooling.
