who makes them...whats the cost...and which is the best...

my boy is offering me one at 3k with 100cel cats custom made...

 

Why risk something custom made. thesae cars are to senstive to CELs and back pressure. I recently did a write up for the gen 3 mufflers. Let me know if you can't find it and I will send the link.

 

i will for sure look at the link...he made one for his own 997tt and it rocks... so i am tempted...

 

There is a method to the exhaust design madness, you want to buy one thats been made after a proven R&D process to keep noise levels (drone), EGT's and CEL's in check. this does not mean that a custom one is bad, just that you are rolling the dice so to speak.

IMO I would pick one from proven manufacturers and narrow it down to the one that sounds best to you.

no not yet...i am thinking it... my boy made a custom exhaust for a friend of ours for about 3k...it was sick...100cel cat...and it just sounded so nice

 

yea man, i currently fell in love with the 997TT in every way, they are awesome
