Anybody put 6000k HID's in the fogs?

Jason,
I don't know if I can take picture of them since the shop buttoned it all up before I could take pictures. I will try my best to see what I can provide. I am cleaning up things today and will take some pictures.
It is soooooooooooooooooo nice I love clicking on the arm/disarm to see them light up
I know they were installed vertically with self tapping screws and no double stick tape or anything like that.
Let me see what I can do or superimposed the location from a picture.

Maybe if you want to look like a rice boy. 4100k is the correct temperature for the most white light output on the road. Anything higher colors the beam and reduces lumen output, and hence is stupid.

Osram and Phillips makes the 5800K bulbs(marketed as 6000K) which is in their opinion the highest Kelvin bulb they will sell/market. 3200 lumens(give or take) to 2600 lumens(give or take) is not large enough for me to notice and I have yet to see the difference. In fact visually to me they look better(6K or 5.8K bulbs). It could be my mind, my eyes could like the blue light better. Who knows.
I guess I am stupid and a rice boy.
Oh well..

Simba - seeing less is okay with me. Does it bother you? You seem to think that I am not aware of the difference between 3200 lumens to 2600 lumens and what that means. I do not need an education on Kelvin, Lumen Output, etc. But thank you though for your concern.
I posted this on here for those that want to do the same. If they choose to use a 4100 or 4300K HID bulb then so be it. I have a few sets of those too and I used the 5800K bulbs instead.

Jason here are some daylight shots and the mounting position. Unless I submerge the front end in water I would only really worry about moisture.
I will take night shots later. These are unfiltered pictures(no polarizer/ND Filter). I changed the curve to increase the brightness on the mounting install pictures to give more detail. It mounts on both sides the same. The picture is on the passenger side.

To me it's like spending money on an engine part that doesn't work as well as an alternative, because it's shiny. But, each to their own.

Is nice, thank for the effort of taking those pictures giving me the idea of putting the HID light for the Fog, I almost get my car done that way too. But having worry about cutting some H3 light bracket to make it fit and also the light housing. Maybe I should consider doing it like yours.

toffeeGT2 - no problem. There are many great helpful people on this forum.
There wasn't too much hassle making them fit. I really am glad that I did this mod. I will do the same for my Cayenne Fogs.
