can someone confirm the LowBeam bulb? called Eric @ SPP and he stated they were D1S but it seems from searching the forum that they are D2S... Also the price quoted from SPP for Lowbeams are $150, so leads me to believe they maybe D2S since they are a bit cheaper.

Pull the bulb to verify, D1S has the square ignitor built on to the base of the bulb.
While the Osram guide says D1S that guide is full of errors.

took the headlight apart a few seconds ago and they are definitely d2s with a round base! will place my order monday and pictures to follow

my friend just got 10000k fog lights and they look purple is it because it bad quality?.... Do you no where i can get 10000k h11 fogs for a cayenne 08 that are blue or should i go with 8000k

Not necesarily an indicator of bad quality, just poor judgment in making a purple bulb

If your Cayenne has stock HID's you need a 4,000k bulb, offerings exist from PIAA, Hoen and similar. Always use the right bulb for the application and never go over the wattage the factory sticks in there.

Pic from Hoen website, obviously its clear which one is replaced.

so if i want blue fogs and head lights what would u suggest i do?

Blue? No idea. White, then Hoen or PIAA, but piaas import extreme white only, the rest of piaa are junk.

Blue bulbs for the fog light

Here's the site with Blue bulbs for the fog light. The 8000K bulb is super white with a LOT of blue in it. From reading other threads on this topic It seems that the low beam HID light is ~6000K. I just ordered the the 6000K fog (H3) & high beam (H11) & will report back when installed.

To have a blue fog light matching the low beam get H3 xenon bulbs 6000k, you can get them from Xtralights.com very high quality, Digital HID(the Japanese type), I have been using them for a long time on all my cars (Audi, and porsches) with no problems
