650?

Update re below - ok, my mistake. I see AWE is now offering a larger throttle body to bring their kit up to 650. Man, I'm tempted already.

I have the AWE 620 kit (4 months and no problems on and off the track) - fantastic for daily driving, road trips, and track days. I've not heard of the AWE 650. Regardless with AWE you can choose different programs but in Calgary you want the 61 pump program unless you are going to fill the tank with race gas in which case you'll want to add the race option to your GIAC program. I don't think 63 will make much of a difference anyway - the kit already rocks your world.

The AWE vs. Evos comparison is a long worn debate which you can review with a search. Good luck.
K.

Also have the super strong and light AMT 110 forged wheels-so lithe over the bumps, much less jarring than the heavier stock rims.

Just for fun I'd recommend you do the damps, sways, and perhaps toe-links, and corner balancing next. Your ride will change more that you may think (but you won't be using the sport suspension setting in the city, that's for sure). As I've said before, you get used to the extra power after a month or so and you can't step on it much in or around Calgary (except at Race City) anyway. My AWE intercoolers are very useful (essential) on the tracks here in southern CA but not so much in Calgary. The water and oil temps just stay steady, period. But the Damptronics you feel every day all day. IMO best mod - good track instruction and practice sessions! Get hooked up the private groups that teach and run Race City throughout the season. That said, perhaps your driving interests differ from mine and if so disregard my comments.
K.
P.S. If you look at what is necessarily included in the 700 kit - and you are going for 650 (not much less) then ask when (not if) are you going to need a new clutch and turbos? Maybe just go for the 700 kit?

I agree, even with my meager driving skills I notice this weight difference on the track. Now if I could only get some sticky tires .....

Gents,

Just so we are all clear on the breakdown. Let me know if there are questions.

(600hp) Stg1 - A.W.E. Tuning mufflers and G.I.A.C. software

(650hp) Stg2 - A.W.E. Tuning Mufflers, Headers, Intercoolers, 82mm Throttle Body, and G.I.A.C. software.

(750hp) Stg3 - All of the above plus our modified VTG Turbos. For 6speed cars we do recommend a Sachs Racing Clutch.

We are most proud of our 750R kit. The drive ability is factory smooth and all Bosch Motronic safety features have remained intact.

On top of all that, we have true multiple program flashing.

Mike,

Does the exhaust fit on a TechArt GT Street rear bumper or a NRAuto (TechArt replica) rear bumper?

We have never done a test fit of our own, but if those exhausts will work with a stock muffler, then they will work with our muffler.

You may want to check out this thread https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...tg-turbos.html which highlights the EVOMS EVT670 Clubsport Performance System. 630+ HP on pump fuel and 670+ HP on race fuel - proven performance with proven results. Additionally, we offer a complete warranty & ECU switching with "dual mode" pump and race gas calibrations with on the fly operation.
