I am sure that I don't use this thing to it's full potential...

However I tend to use the volume up/down and mute the most (left scroll wheel).

Occasionally I'll use the right scroll wheel while in NAV to zoom.

What do you use it for most often and what steps do you do to use it that way?

You can do almost anything with the wheel but the only features I use are vol control, cd track selection and MP3 folder selection.

I hate the way it works because it's a really lame version of I-drive but it works well once you get into the right mode. The right thumbwheel does all of the work and you have to scroll up/down to select and navigate different modes.

Track selection is cool because you just scroll through the list of tracks and highlight the one you want. If you press the thumbwheel, it will play the track immediately, go back to the prev screen, and exit track selection mode. If you don't press anything and just highlight the track, it will automatically play after a slight pause but the track list will remain on the screen and PCM will stay in track selection mode. I like it far better than simple track up/down buttons.
