I thought that review sucked. Jeremy's review of the 997 C2S was so much more entertaining IMO.

that's what gets me. When the car first came that's all you heard - only that it was so good, and so easy to drive fast that it was boring and had no soul. Now, the car is a disaster and unwieldly at anything approaching aggressive driving

Porsche heard the complaints that the 996 was to sterile a handling 911, so they gave the 997 an edge and now everyone is complaining. Porsche can't win.

Very true. I was anticipating this episode so much to see where the TT would place on the power lap board, only to see Jeremy say that he would rather have a Ferrari and that be the end of it. I wonder why?

While Top Gear is one of the more entertaining "car shows," it doesn't change the fact that they are full of misinterpretations and wrong facts. I can't believe Clarkson's opinion is given so much weight, when his data is often outright wrong.

For example...40-60 mph in 1 second? Weighs less than the F430? Same length as a Prius? No wider than a BMW 3? Top speed 200 mph? All wrong!
