Had the clear bra applied to nose yesterday by a reputable installer(DD), they removed the headlights to apply the bra, after re-installing the headlights I get a warning light 'check R/L headlights...'. Installer said it would reset itself, didn't. Really don't want to make a trip to the dealer.
Anybody had this happen before? They said to come by and they'll clear the codes.

 

I removed the headlamps to install the Hoen hi-beam bulbs and never go any error messages after install. Sorry I don't have real help to offer. I believe the lamps are self-leveling so maybe they do have to turn them on and off a few times to activate that feature and reset.

 

maybe a battery disconnect will reset the lights.

 

Yes, a bit of a pain in the *** for basically a sticker

 

Any downside to undoing the battery?

I know in my M3 I lost them when my battery died after sitting for a month. not sure about P-car

 

I think the presets are OK - when I disconnected the battery, I think I had to reset/relearn the windows so they know where top is.

 

How do you do that?

I don't believe in that clear bra stuff......a good detail once per year will be enough..no different than polishing a watch occassionally....

hah? he took off your headlight in order to put the clear bra? thats weird, coz when i had my clear bra done the guy didnt remove it..
