Just installed the BMC filter. The change is phenomenal ....... psychologically

There is a change in the noise level. I can hear the turbos a little better now.

Eclou, thanks for you help.

Now flash the ECU and aftermarket exhaust will make you a very happy man!

OT, do you have a picture of the air box cover itself? (the top part of the air box) I'm thinking to do some custom work out of it. TIA

Sorry Ray, already closed it back up. I have the Tubi installed. I will flash it when I go past the break-in period.

How hard was it to remove the intake cover? Can you post instructions? Where do you get that BMC filter?

Atomic, I got it from Fabspeed $195.00.

The cover is easy to get off. Just pull it straight up. It comes right off (Eclou taught me this and it was so easy I was shocked) There are four screws that you need to take off on the filter itself that attaches it to the housing. That is all.

I love the sound, but be aware that there is a drone. I have droning on the Tubi between 2500 and 3000 rpm in fifth and sixth. It is becoming less as I put more miles on it. Currently at 800.

I am having a BMC filter installed for about 4000km - with stock exhaust there is almost no noticeable difference in sound and power.

Installation is very easy, the cover you can just pull off. I was surprised from the quality of that italian part - it´s really good and fits perfectly.

It´s much more easier to change than the fog bulbs;-)

I could really recommend it, because it´s not that expensive and you don´t have to think about it anymore....

Mmmhh, i think i will go for a fabspeed exhaust - it seems to be really good, as all guys are saying here.

The biggest advantage for me is the easy change of sound level - i think i will start with sport cats and muffler bypass. All or nothing
