This is a VF-Engineering engine bay: It's the fine details that make the final product better overall...

Here is a dyno of a VF510 compared to a stock 997 (mods on N/A 997 are Headers, cats, full exhaust system, and a tune)

VF510: 441whp
Stock: 321whp

If you know, just look better and you will see exact the same parts between mines and yours and when I spoke with many specialists here in Greece they told me that mines in more than real and yours is very optimistic, and believe me that a friend of mine took your kit for he's 997s and at the duno saws 430FWHP...

That was "justatoy's" answer:
I also just noticed that you do not have VF's kit? but not sure! and putting your question in every supercharger thread will not yield you any more news!
But my $.02....(if you do not have a VF charger)...could be the tuning within the ECU......

Also....
The dyno may not have a problem.....no two dynos will read the same number.....too many variables exist! Some dynos read BIG numbers so that people keep coming back and yet others are called "Ego' busters because they read reality......I did three dynos in a two day period a very long time ago and there was 60 RWHP difference between the high and low!

something for you to read...

http://www.caranddriver.com/features...-lying-feature

My favourite line By Dinan(BMW tuner) on page 2..."Basically, what horsepower would you like? I can give you anything from 330 to 420 with the same car," Dinan says.

^^^^ I quoted this in your thread not theirs. You seem to want to chase down a trophy dyno number!? You are looking for input on why your numbers might be low yet nobody knows what kind of tuning you have done(if any). And to be honest... IMO you shouldn't post that in a vendors thread(could be confusing to potential buyers). If you had a VF system on your car, then that would be a different story.

The tuning that I have in my car has the same parts(vortech v2,intercooler,injectors Bosch,
Bosch high flow water circulation system, water radiator kit.
Bosch pressure relief bypass system.
K&N induction filter,ECU) and I'm wondering how they give us 510hp and the same kit gives 453hp.its far away.the vf 475 is 420fwhp in a dyno in Greece.so it's better to tell us the true because same people will take the kit, that obviously is very good and fast, but not fast just like a turbo with 475hp.
That's my opinion an I believe that is better to discuss in order to make our cars faster, even if we disagree,so the better that we have to do is to listen opinions from anyone and not"eat" everything that gives us.....

Like Justatoy said, is your ECU tuned by VF? You can have the same parts as VF, but if your ECU is tuned by another outfit, then you cannot compare them the same way. Having said that, I have a VF510 kit for my 3.8S, and I must admit, it's not 510 HP. It's definitely faster than when my 3.8S was stock, but not 510 HP . Do I enjoy the kit still? You bet, but I would be ecstatic if I had 510HP .

Why is doctor posting all of this useless info in this thread? He doesn't have the vf kit. He should make his own thread dedicated to what he has.

Hi 808C2S, did you ever dyno your car to check out your figures. It makes me wonder why should VF declare 510hp if they can't reach such figures. I have ordered the VF510 kit but after reading the recent posts i am a bit dissapointed.

I agree with you and I enjoy it too.
You are very correct in what you say.
The VF engineering seller in Greece after he saws the tuning and the ECU told me that is all tuning is very correct and the ECU is right.
So,the only that I want to tell to everyone is the the vf kit is very powerful but not 510hp even 475hp.
So,after this, let's enjoy all of us the power that vortech v2....

Another point i wanted to highlight is the fact cars with supercharger can not compete with the TT due to huge torque difference. The VF kit claim a torque arround 500nm whereas the TT is close to 700nm which is extraordinary.

I post this thread because I want to help all of you in order to buy the vf kit because is to fast but not 510 or 475hp.
If you want to believe that everything that give us is right, you can buy it.
We buy this kit because we want a faster car, even faster than a 997tt but believe me that this kit is faster than a gt3rs mk2 but far away than 997tt.
If you are happy with this performance, just buy it.
If you want to change you car in order to have a 997s faster than 997tt you are wrong.
The rest is yours.....
