I think that he should also have his car confiscated and crushed, freeze all his bank accounts and sell off any of his assets, with the proceeds going directly to the "Who-gives-a-s#%t-foundation". Then we'll form a posse and steal his dog, smash his letterbox and take his lunch money!

C'mon, seriously. How generally embarrasing that my first (and probably only) posting should be a sarcastic dialogue highlighting just how silly people can get over a subject. Take a good look at yourselves, because from the outside looking in, you all appear to require a "real problem" to worry about.

After reading this mess I just emailed Matt at GMP to order the plenum and the big bore throttle body. Most people seem happy with the product. So, what's a couple thousand on a $140,000 car. If I'm unhappy with the results of said mod then I'll eat it and go on. By the way Matthew at GMP is a very professional young man, and is a credit to his company in my opinion. My car is a 997 turbo, but I didn't like Matt getting trashed like that for no damn good reason.

Matt is great to work with -- I recently purchased a Speedart wing from him. As for the plenum, most of the debate here is over its effectiveness in a NA car. In the turbos, I think most people have been very pleased. I noticed a significant difference in lower-end power when I installed the plenum and an evo boost recirculation valve.

Matt and the crew installed the EVOMS BRV set a couple of weeks ago on my car. Nice clean work. Looking forward to the RSS product. My biggest concern was with the Rss plenum and new throttle body fitting with the WERKS one intake. It seems one of the other members had no problems with fitment.

Looks like Matthew was not aware of the Plenum test at AWE, and is working on getting one to test. Not a bad guy from his humble response.

There is more to life then an Internet Forum...I am sure that he feels a little silly posting this so soon after the "big test", and I don't think that he would do that intentionally.

Perhaps you could help settle this score and go see Greg at RSS, I would love to get another thread going on this

Some people volunteered to do the test on their car but Greg remains silent.

This is your chance, he offered you everything for free (including a lunch) and all it cost you was a few hours. Book it in a week in a month, what ever works with your schedule. I am a busy guy as well, but I would be all over this. If he is selling a POS then you can call him out and you have the proof, until then Greg has left the ball in your court!

Even if I wasn't busy I wouldn't even consider to go see how well my car 'looks' on a dyno with and without bling bling under the hood.
They didn't even care about the results from AWE on duncan's car and now they only want 'ME' to go over there... business ethics?
And Matthew not knowing about the results? Knowing what you're selling is business ethics 101! AWE wouldn't even consider selling the product without testing it, that's the kind of company you want to give your money to!!

If I ever tune my car I will call AWE, not GMP, trust me!
I think that RSS's business ethics are excellent, he is offering to pay for everything, if you don't like the results you don't have to buy it, nothing ventured nothing gained for Greg. I think that you are affraid to go up to see Greg so you can hide behind your keyboard and talk s**t about people instead of facing them and saying the crap that you have been saying. I am on the side that the Plenum doesn't provide the gains that they have claimed, but what ever the reality is Greg has a business to run and let the buyer beware.

As for Matthew, he is running a business, and may or may not be on the ball, bun you come on this forum and start a thread that trashes him, I am not sure what he has done to you, but from what I can tell, you have not even spoken to him, if that is the case stop being an a**hole. If he did screw you in a deal then post the facts and we can choose to deal with him or not.

Finally, AWE did a test, one test does not prove that RSS and GMP are crooks, it proves that the Plenum may not be a $1000 X51 package, but then again a large number of people like the change that it has made. AWE does make really good products, and I would deal with them again.

Do us all a favor, get in your car and go show Greg that you think his product is junk by testing his product on your car and seeing no results.

This is nonsense. Your origional post was bogus and you continue to dig a deeper hole for yourself. There is a real issue regarding the conflicting dynos and the subjective impressions of those that have installed it. You have no business here. At all. Period.

All the mods done on my 997tt was done at RSS. They are a respectable operation and it's unfair for you to bash an organization you have never dealt with.

If the plenum design is bogus, then why did AWE manufacture one for themselves. They copied the IPD design without realizing that RSS has a patent on the design.... Read this thread. Their plenum looks awfully close to IPD's plenum.
https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...hlight=awe+700

Hmmm..... Trying to discredit a design after realizing that they cannot make it without certain infringements? hm....... Just something to think about IMO.

I have an AWE exhaust on my tt and was thinking about buying their headers, but this post by Todd at AWE is making me think twice. Bashing a fellow vendor on a forum like this to me is just not a classy move..... Not Cool.
