By the way --in your price range I found this car in the 6speed for sale section. I don't know anything about the car and I am not affiliated with it or the owner but it's real close to your price, has ceramic brakes, and less miles https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...d.php?t=131139

No matter what car you get --I wish you the best.

I saw that, however I would have been the 4th owner of the car, if I remember correctly..nice car though, maybe i'll keep that in mind.

What is the consensus of the red? I don't see many reds around here...

Higher miles means one thing. The car was on the road where it should be rather than the garage or repair shop. I would rather have a car driven 1k miles per month than a car driven 2k miles per year.

Here is the question, does anyone see deals out there below 55k for a similar equipped 997 and if so, please share.
they have a 05 997s (yes s, not base) with navi. sports crono, lobsters, red/blk interior about the same mileage at CarMax is Dulles, Va for 56k i believe. The car looked okay upon inspection, but yeah, it's a blk car make sure to get a full detail in the deal....

Good luck.

this looks like a better deal i think with 20k miles for 56,000$, prob can get it down to $53000. Only, 7000$ more for extra 20k miles.

I agree, but the car has been lowered and possibly modified. However, if thats okay with you, i agree it is descent deal.

Where did you see that the car is lowered?

it has new rotors and pads. But why would he need new rotors at 25000miles. a bit strange to me.

It looks like he originally want $58000 for it then drop it down to $56,000, so it may difficult to bargain down to $53000.

how about this one?

Would you all buy a base 997 for $50s, or a cayman S for 50s?

Isnt the Cayman S faster than the base 911?
