997s vs 996 tt

Since its going to be a while before the 997 turbo,is nayone here replacing their tt with a 997 s ?

Interestingly,how much slower will a 997 s be than a 996 tt ?
All the reports ive read suggest performance not a million miles away.

No way in the world I'd downgrade from a Turbo to a 997S.

No way. There'll be gazillion 997s on the road. All the 996 c2/c4 owners will turn in their leased cars and upgrade. The TT is still a rarity. A turbo is always special.

Trade from 500+ hp flagship that some say is "too refined " to 350 hp" ever more refined " car with ? of solved RMS leak probs - nope .
But, I have dibs on one of first 997 Turbos at my dealership ! I'll switch cars if I can get it with DSG tranny , otherwise will wait until it's available.
