My dealer is trying to get me a July production slot for an '09 997S, I 'm going to order a C2S cab with PDK and SC, just cannot decide on a color combo (thoughts are welcome*). My dealer said the PDK may not be available until Sept production however, anyone else know anything about this?

Carrara White w/ Black top
Sav Biege interior with black deviated carpets.

I saw a Carrera white cab with cocoa interior and cocoa top...all I can saw is WOW. I might wait a few months after the PDK comes out incase there is problems.

The white over cocoa could be a great choice!

 

I like the metropol blue top with sea blue interior on the white car . The top is dark enough (almost black) and the sea ble on the white blends it all together .

Color choice is just a matter of taste though .

My girlfriend said to go with the white/blue/blue (also had it on an '86 Carrera Cab I bought new back in the day).

The July build slots have already been taken but they are trying to get some extra allocation and will get me a spot, just don't know if the PDK will be ready then or not.

Drove the new '09 SL550 today, what a beautiful car and super smooth with tons of torque but a lousy 13MPG in the city...that car needs DFI badly.

The "Sea" Blue might just go with our new place...we'll know tomorrow (pm me for details).

I hope to have the docs signed for the new place tomorrow (the way things have be going with the house hunting I'll believe it when I have them in my hands).

I have a question. How the hell am I supposed to stay sane until either Aug (if I'm lucky) or Oct waiting for the new 09???

Waiting for a car is not easy as the anticipation makes time seem longer .My car is getting the Evoms 700 and it took time to modify my turbos and replace the clutch and update the software . I expect the car any day now and for me as the arrival date gets closer it's even harder .
