More details 2009 997
Lots of good info in that, but a lot of it is redundant.
What strikes me is the exhaust system is the same for the C2 and S. They also integrated the cats into the header. Sounds like there will be decent power to gain by going to an aftermarket header.

After reading that, it's clear that this model upgrade was not superficial and there has been substantial modifications in the mechanics and electronics.

They are paddles that you push and pull to change gears. They just do not look like traditional paddles like you see in a Ferrari. You push and pull either the right or left paddle depending on your hand position on the steering wheel during a turn. Sound like a good thing to me. You can also push and pull the stick shift to change gears too simular to a GT3RSR racce car.
Go to the Porsche website and check out the mini movie on all the new features of the car. Afterwards take the test!

I'll have to hold off final judgement until I drive one with PDK. It sounds weird the way they describe it, but now that I think about it, Porsche wouldn't wait this long to bring out PDK and do it half-assed.
Any info on how the headers, cats or mufflers have changed from 2008? Any pics?
